I posted earlier about my 6 row going down but not planting. I found a couple drive chains were loose and a broken down pressure spring and planted 25 acres with no problem. What actually does the springs do that could cause it to bind up ? Does it make the seed box uneven when down? Just trying to understand the operation of this planter.Thanks
