Subject: seeding alfalfa on old corn ground

dilworth, mn
what are your guys thoughts on seeding some alfalfa on 2013 corn ground? i have a friend who has the opportunity to do this and i am curious if it will be worth it. the ground was worked last fall with a sunflower deep tillage tool and also had a salford rts? ran across it twice. His thoughts are to run across it again this spring with the salford and then float the alfalfa seed on at around 20lbs/acre and then run a harrow packer across it. let me know of any other ideas you guys have or if you have had experience with it.
