mom used to brown steak (t-bone or sirloin) and then put it in her Guardian roaster. Not the way I like steak compared to grilling but was really tender and good.
I have a piece of sirloin that I wanted to try that with as it's toooooo cold to grill. I seem to remember mom cooking it at low temperature for a longer time. Something on the order of 180º. If I put it in the oven at that temp how long would a 1.5 pound piece of steak take to cook/roast?
Or should I put it in at a higher temperature?
