Subject: Ethanol plant being hawked?

Southern Minnesota
Just wanted to share a tidbit with you, you can take it for what its worth. Met with a landlord in October and He shared this with me over breakfast. He was researching investing in ethanol and this is what he found out. "Oil companies plan on buying ethanol plants for 25-50 cents on the dollar when the plants get in the red". He gathered this information from a friend of his son whom works for an investment firm in New York. (He did not give any names ) I know this all sounds kind-of shaky but it is a true conversation from a person I believe is credible, as is- he didn't just fall of the proverbial turnip truck and has the assets to back that up. Nonetheless, He got my attention and got me thinking what if. "What if" corn hangs around $4.50-$5.50 for the next 2-3 years and the price of oil has a slow regression. Will we be selling corn to Exxon Mobile??!!!! Please put my mind at ease.
