western Wisconsin | I am redoing the cattle handling set up at dad's this year and talked to the local guy that's family has a sawmill business. He told me that they have Red Oak, White Oak and Black Locust logs on site. What would be better for gates and posts? This chute is set up is in a shed and the old post that are 30 years old are rotting. They will be concreated in. I am thinking locust for posts and oak for gates? I don't want to use treated post if don't have too. Priced out pipe and its too expencive. | |
