Subject: Soil Finisher in corn stalks???

Ohio
I just bought a nice John Deere 726 soil finisher. It's got the disk gang up front, shovels on 9" centers, a 3 bar harrow, and finally rolling baskets. I got some HEL (highly erodible land) ground and don't do any fall tillage. So, I spring chisel my bean stubble going to corn and no-till into corn stalks. However, I don't like what the corn stubble is doing to my tires, depth gauge wheel rubbers, etc.
I would like to go in the spring and use this soil finisher on the corn stalks. I was curious to if anyone else has tried this? My concern is trash getting through the tool, especially at the 3 bar harrow. Any thoughts on this?
Thanks.
