Alberta, Canada | Hi. We're using an AgLeader Ontrac2 with an Edge display, and a Trimble AgGPS 252 (on Omnistar XP) to autosteer a swather (a Macdon M155). We've used this setup for the past few years.
We started swathing today and every once in awhile the Ontrac2 is kicking out and displaying "Steering Position Error". Sometimes it will steer fine for an hour, while other times it will do this every 5 minutes. The system lets us re-engage the autosteer immediately after it kicks out (don't have to reboot the display or anything), but it is annoying that it keeps doing this.
Any ideas or suggestions for fixing it would be appreciated! Thanks!
PS - I tried calling AgLeader tech support but they're closed today. I thought they used to have weekend hours during harvest??? | |
