Carter Montana | I have a 700 updated to version 28 that sometimes intermitantly steers off course. Most of the time the swath finder will hold its A-B line but the cross track error increases off line in another direction. when auto steering the sprayer fallows the cross track error heading. After that happens I can stop and watch the cross track error and heading increase for up to 5-10 minutes until it eventualy corrects back to my true location. The swath map always follows the cross track error even if I'm manuely spraying on my A-B line.
Problem #2, sometimes the swath finder as well as the cross track error and heading go crazy to the point of the tractor in the swath map seems to be turning a circle. It doesn't seem to mater if the tractor is engaged in auto steer on manuely steering.
Problem #3, sometimes it will engage on my A-B line 60 plus inches off line then hold that heading 60 inches off line.
Any thoughts, our local "experts" don't have a clue.
