Western WI | I recently bought the 750 as my first gps for spraying as my foamer quit and i decided i needed to upgrade. I am running adaptive curve on a 45 foot pull type top air sprayer behind a jd 4230. First problem im having is when I turn around at the end of the field the lightbar takes forever to show me which row to turn down(Im usually 50 feet down the row when the greenlight fianlly comes on), Which was my main reason for the purchase. I basically just "paint" where Ive gone and try to line up my boom on the monitor with the last line i ran. I really got no help setting this up and it didnt come with a manual to really to help me out. I have the globe on front center of cab where I was told to put it.
I also would like to have the sprayer booms turned on and off automatically. My current controller is a microtrac mt 3000. It has the valve that automatically changes presssure to match speed. What do I need to have the 750 run the sprayer....and is this a smart way to go? THANKS!!! | |
