NW MINN | I have a month old calf that has a broken front leg. I'm going to splint with split PVC tube w/pad. My question is do you place the splint so the bottom contacts the ground and carries the weight or higher to just support the break? TIA update Just attempted to splint and found two things first: splint wasn't large enough and 2: break is above the knee. Going to give vet a call tomorrow and see what he has to say.
