Subject: Self employed(tax related) going to dentist

McLeod County, MN
Hey folks,

I am self employed. I have my own construction business and I farm as well.

Cash has been a little tight the last few years and it was really tight during college. I havent been to the dentist in about 12 years. I finally had to go the other day and am having a fair amount of work done.

Are the expenses I am gonna have from going to the dentist tax deductible?? I am assuming I am going to pay close to a grand out of pocket. I dont have dental or health insurance. Can I write the full dental of on next years tax return?

Thanks
