Subject: water in snow ?

Clark SD

I went out and pushed a pipe into snow yesterday. The id of pipe is 7.8 inches.
I then took the snow core and melted it. The weight of the water was 783.4 grams.
Assuming the following, does anybody care to calculate the water in the melted snow in acre inches.
I want to see if you can come up with the answer i got.

given:
1 gallon water = 8.34 lbs
1 lb.= 454 grams
1 acre inch=27154 gallons water
43560sq ft= 1 acre
