SC Kansas | We planted canola this year for the first time. We used our white planter to put in 30" rows. I thought I had a clear cut plan A and plan B for harvest, but went to the canola meeting today in Enid, ok. My plan A was to spray with reglone and straight cut with macdon header. It sure sounded like that was on the bottom of everyone's list of how to do it. It seems like the most popular way is to swath then pick up. Would 30" stubble hold a windrow if we made that our new plan A? | |
