| Been looking into Gelbvieh bulls to put on angus cows. I've never been around gelbvieh and there don't see to be any in this part of Illinois at least. What should I know about them? are they everything the Gelbvieh assn. claims them to be? Any reason why most people went Simmi, Limmi, or Maine instead of Gelbvieh? Thinking long term it sounds attractive to have balancer cows and bulls...........just don't know much about them. FWIW mainly looking for growth in other places than simmi, just not a fan of them. Thanks.
