North End I-15 | Finally made it to our Christmas destination . First thing the wife wanted was to go to an estate sale .....she bought a pot for making stew , I bought an antique nut cracker for my collection . And .... It poured rain last night . Arizona is looking better all the time . Since November 15 we have only had five days with out rain . Sure appreciated the sunny ones.
Picture of early Reed nut cracker . It says pat pending , guessing from the early 40's or so. They are still made today. Same basic configuration , just updated with stamped materials and less expensive manufacturing costs.
