| I read through some of the a-toxin threads and didn't see this covered. Tried some replant corn today testing 25 and the load was rejected (160ppb). After talking to ins. adjuster numerous times my head is about to explode. He said the toxin is in the fines. My question is if I let it dry more in the field there will be less fines and maybe lower levels, but elevator manager said it seemed to get worse with the recent rains which would suggest shelling it as soon as possible. Anyone know for sure? Adjuster said it had to be rejected by 3 elevators and then they would try to find a salvage buyer. Seems like it's going to be a real pain. Thank goodness only have about 100 acres. They weren't checking very close early until ADM started rejecting their trucks and sending them back. | |
