. | I've been very fortunate in not having any major theft problems around here in recent years. But yesterday afternoon a hydraulic gasket blew out on the back of the 4430 while the hired man was cutting hay. It was right next to the road when it blew and that was where it was left till repairs could be made this morning. After it was fixed, he said he couldnt figure out for a few seconds why it was chugging and sputtering so bad when he tried to start it. Looked in the fuel tank and no diesel. Probably only 25 gallons in it, but still it takes guts to siphon it out right along the road. | |
