I've seen videos of 22" notill COC and it works. Has anyone tried pulling the row cleaners off a striptill machine and just till between the rows in the fall? Then go into that with the planter in the spring. You wouldn't get the advantage of a warmer bed but would still have the ground mellowed out and your fertilizer down.
