Central Arkansas | I have about 70% "good ground" and the rest is gumbo. I grow all Round Up Ready beans and usually average between 35 to 47 bu/ac. They get watered anywhere from 3 to 5 times down the row. I used to plant them on 30" rows. Last year switched to 7.5" spacing on 60" beds. They look good all year and really don't stress for anything. What's the secret? Any recommendations on variety on the two different soil types? | |
