west central illinois | After reading the post below about pricing grain before harvest and after seeing the corn crop in this area get damaged severely here this week, I have been thinking today how far off harvest will begin for what crop it is we will have? Last year after the faucet was turned off pretty much everyone here was running by labor day. With the way the weather has been do you think it will be middle of August or earlier? I figured with the drought stress that standibility might become an issuse as it dries down also. | |
