central Iowa | My son has a JD 530 round baler. Lately has been having some trouble getting bale started- hay doesn't always start rolling in the chamber. There's a roller
with like 1/2 x 1/2 square stock welded along it. That's getting smooth corners on it. He thinks he read to weld on those edges to give it a little better grab.
Has anyone done that or have another fix. Thought I'd ask you guys before we try it. TIA | |
