Manitoba | On my new to me Morris 7300 tank we're having trouble with the bolt that connects the orbital motor to the auger. Dont know what was in there originaly but put in a grade 5 3/8" bolt which only lasted a few loads. Next I put in a grade 8 3/8" bolt. It lasted longer, maybe 400 acres. Next I guess I'll drill it out to 7/16" and try a grade 8 7/16" bolt. Any one else have trouble with this? At first I thought we were going from forward to reverse accidently. The last time I was more observant and it seemed to break when I went from reverse to stopped. The auger seems straight and runs pretty smooth. I guess I will try to move the lever slowly when stopping it. TIA | |
