![](/profile/get-photo.asp?memberid=1306&type=profile&rnd=709) central - east central Minnesota - | I posed this quesiton on my misadventures, that day - http://talk.newagtalk.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=303227&posts=9#M2355856 Got the hose replaced and replaced hydraulic fluid - used 16 gals, system hold 26 gal. So, I lost enough, but still glad I made it to the farm for repair. And not damage to pump or componants. Just the fact I had use of the pressure washer to remove all the grim / dirt, helping elemanate contaimiment concerns was worth something to me. getting it back to the farm . . . . While it seemed like a guiser, gushing fluid out, it wasn't as bad as I thought - for that seeming little fluid loss for the distance I traveled . . . . . Hose took 2in or 40mm wrench - that's a huge hole for stuff to get into on the pump and filter houseing. Is there some type of "patch" or clamp, that a guy can get to put over holes, on hydraulic hoses - to stop the fluid loss or at least reduce the fluid loss, to make it to better places for repair ? |
