Subject: 8420 hydraulic overheating

Shelby County, Illinois
We are planting with a JD8420 and during an 80+ degree afternoon we can only go 3 or 4 rounds before we get a warning that the hydraulic temp is too high. The tractor is new to us and it is pulling a JD 1790 16-32 planter with hydraulic drive that is also new to us. We changed the filter, washed the oil cooler and radiator and checked the oil level as OK. Is that planter just too much for the tractor or is there something else to check?
TIA
