Lancaster County, Pa. | I had asked for suggestions of how to make a wire roller about a week ago, this is what I came up with...... I went to the scrap pile and found 2 old split rim wheels off of a dually pickup, four old feeder chain slats, and a little miscellaneous steel and made a wire roller. To fasten the roller to the loader I knocked out 2 of the lugs bolts and drilled matching holes on the wheel rim and fastened it with two 1/2" bolts, it didn't wobble at all. The taper on the roller was really nice for getting the rolled wire off of the roller. You have to put a block under the back of the loader so you can lift the wheels off the ground and its a 2 man operation. I had made a crude end cap for it to keep the wire from falling off the end but the wire I was rolloing was rusty enough that it pretty much stayed in place on it's own. It ain't pretty, but it worked great
