Subject: cih 4300 field cult. bushing?

NC Iowa

i am replacing the sweeps today. have maybe 6 that are cracked from the top down through the bolt holes. still on tight. just never seen that before. what causes that? overtighting?

i also noticed that the shank is getting play in the bushings. what is the procedure for replacing them? are they 'special' or are they available aftermarket?
