Subject: battery question #2 - 9520 T specific

Rivers, MB
I posted a few days back about our 9520T batteries draining down. Wasn't doing it last fall and the only that has changed since last fall is that during the winter inspection at the dealer, they put 3 new batteries on. Now, the tractor batteries will drain down enough that it won't start in a few days. Tech came out and says we have something plugged into our accesory power (Dickey John radar) that is drawing about 135 milliamps with everything being turned off that is draining our batteries. We question that, especially because he said that some of the newer tractors have controllers that are constantly drawing a couple hundered milliamps and they obviously aren't draining batteries on every tractor.

Will 135 milliamps draw down 3 big, fully charged batteries in 2 days? We have trouble believing that it is. We suspect that we got a batch, or at least 1, bad battery.

What say the experts?

Thanks in advance.
