Subject: Planter Shaft Speed Math ???

I am trying to figure the planter unit drive shaft speed to determine what gear combo I need to drive a fertilizer pump. It is a Kinze 2300 planter using these inputs. This uses a Jamison style ground drive and a standard gear set inside the trans, then there is an external set of gears to set population.
Ground drive wheel 7.50 - 20 which is 112" per revolution
Driven wheel- 4.80 - 8 which is a 50" per revolution
Primary gearing in planter trans (does not change with rate)
Drive- 22 teeth
Driven - 34 teeth

Planting speed is 5 mph
I realize that the final speed will be a little dependent on the gear set used to set population but should not change speed very much.
I came up with 68 rpm on the planter unit drive shaft.

The next question is how fast (rpm) do I need to drive a Hypro Dual diaphram pump to apply 5 gpa at 30 psi on a 12 row planter? The chart with the pump indicated approx, 4.0 gpm at 300psi at 300rpm.

Thanks
INDY
