Subject: Ball valves and 440 raven controller

southern Illinois
I putting ball valves on a sprayer that uses a 440 raven controller. The sprayer had solenoid valves on it, so I just used the switch wires for on/off.
The ball valves use a constant power source, I have a red wire in the harness that I will use for this but the red wire ends about 12 inches from the controller and I'm wondering where to pull power for this from.
The orange wire is hot all the time when the controller is turned on and I'm wondering if this is ok to pull power to the valves from.
thanks for any advice.
