Subject: MT 855 translator (aka steer ready?)

Great Southern, Western Australia
Can anybody shed some light on the installation of a translator in these tractors? Apparently it is required for installation of AGCO Autoguide autosteering (and perhaps other brands as well?). I am told it is located beneath the seat and also involves running harnesses to the roof, right hand console and back to the SCV's. What the dealers here in Australia haven't been able to tell me with any certainty is what the kit is likely to cost. In fact, they can't tell me for sure if the tractor we are looking at has or hasn't got it already.

Has anybody got some experience in this area and can shed some light on this? Is there an easy indicator to tell if the translator is in fact installed without removing panels etc? TIA
