Subject: Could a GS2600 use a raven autosteer valve?

Hi All.

A few years ago we started converting our equipment from Raven equipment over to Greenstar while upgrading tractors. We've got 2 starfire 3000's, a GS2630, a GS2600, & GS1800... and a few tractors &combine that were autotrac ready so it's been slick having the plug and play... it cost plenty, but works great.

The 2630 & starfire3000 ran the planter & autosteer in the planter tractor... other starfire3000 & GS1800 run our new 9330 for the autosteer on the tillage (wich works awesome). We then take the 2630 & gps we move to our combine for harvest.. plug and play... works good. We even put on the row sense for the autosteer with the corn head... that was awesome too.

We have a Deere 7430 where last year we still ran a Raven Envizio Plus & phoenix GPS with smarttrax for autosteer.. then the GS2600 monitor in the same tractor with Deere rate controllers to control our sprayer and fertilizer spreader & document the applications.

After having the 2630's slick application control & autosteer all in one box, now we'd really like to finish our conversion to all Greenstar with our 7430 so we can use the 2600 to take care of applicator & steering all together as well.

So we have the 2600 already, we will go ahead and purchase the autosteer activation for that, will buy 1 more starfire 3000 GPS for it, just wondering if there might be any possibility of using the raven smartrax steering valve that is already on the tractor? <- or do we have to pull that valve off and replace with a john deere valve?

Thanks in advance for the help,
Aaron
