enon valley, pa | marcellus shall is starting there drilling and have been drilling in these states alot over the past year or two i work at one of the plants as a pipe gas line welder building these machines and also work on my uncles farm my question is how do you think its going to effect the farmers as in the rate of rent beings farmers who own alot of land will getting paid that extra check each month and being able to afford newer bigger equitment and able to get more land and pay more for land how does everyone think it will effect everything. the rate the gas company has been paying is been some where around 2000 an acre and i already see some farms spending that big check they been getting bins more equitment and so on. | |
