Central Minnesota | Got a question for you guys, new on the farming scene, and I looked at my state and county's subsidy payments, and wow, there's a lot of money doled out! I know about DCP and that, but the thing that cought my eye was crop insurance subsidy payments? I called my FSA office, and they had no idea where it comes from? Anyone know how to go about applying or even where to go for that? Also, what other subsides are out there that I should keep my eye out for? I don't want to live off the governments teat, but, any help would be nice especially just getting going. Thank you in advance for any advice guys. | |
