NE IL | Anybody have any opinions? I went to a plot tour the other day (a company that is independent of the chemical companies and offers traits from different companies) and someone asked the company's breeder his thoughts on the Agrisure traits. He mentioned they were available in one or two hybrids that the company offers, then made mention of the fact that they don't handle the rootworm pressure nearly as well as the Monsanto traits do....to illustrate his point he showed us an experimental hybrid in their plot that had the Agrisure traits in it, and this hybrid was over 90% lodged! He showed us one of the few AS hybrids in their current lineup and it was around 10% lodged.....all this while the VT3 and STX hybrids showed no noticeable lodging. Any thoughts? | |
