Subject: 9770 fuel consumption

What does your 9770 burn per hour? Last year I saw 18-19 / hour on 2008 machines. This year, one of the 2009 Link combines shows 16.xx on the monitor. It is strong on power, filters are new. Can't explain the variation. Tank consumption seems to be higher than the monitor illustrates. No meter on service truck tank.

Second, are you running the concave spacer bushings in wheat? Manual says only in corn and beans. Dealer techs recommend them in wheat. What are you guys doing? Wheat is running 80-115 bushels / acre with heavy straw.

Thanks for your input.
