Subject: A good fix for 4710 flowmeter!

Mid-Missouri

Parked the sprayer last fall with everything working great. This spring trying it out before putting chemical in and the monitor wouldnt show a rate. I thought something is wrong with the flowmeter. Sure enough, the turbine was contacting the housing. In 1200 hours, I have never had an ounce of downtime with it. So, I contacted lil hoss, and he suspected the axle is broke that the turbine spins on. He said he heard (on NAT iirc) that a drillbit would work as a replacement instead of spending $1200 at Deere. Sure enough, a lightly sanded 3/32 drill bit about .72" in length did the trick. Maybe this will save you some dough. A one dollar fix instead of 1200. Thanks to NAT and the people who make it what it is.
