Subject: leaky seal on drop box input shaft, 98 8400

On the same tractor I posted pictures of yesterday I found the drop box leaking hydraulic oil from the seal around the input shaft where it connects to the fly wheel. How bad is this to change and has does anyone have tips for the easiest way to go about getting it done.
Thanks.

PS
We are playing with the idea of getting the tractor set up with greenstar auto steer so it could plant, we are adding a third planter to the lineup but only have three tractor with auto steer. One tractor will probably be hooked to the strip till or bed conditioner through planting season and both of these jobs require auto steer. The plan is to rent an 8430 equipped with auto steer but for the same price we could set up the ole 8400. The thing that causes controversy is that it has 75XX hours, I think it still makes more sense to put money in our tractor because it has always proven to be reliable and money spent on a rental is just gone. What would you guys do?
