I have 2 internal disk drives in my tower computer. They're a couple of yrs old. One is a dvd burner, the other a cd burner. They've always worked fine. However, a couple of weeks ago I found that neither of my drives recognized disks when they were inserted. The green lights flashed, but nothing came up on EXPLORE. It just said the drive was still empty...no disk.

I've tried dvd movies, commercial program disks (like PrintShop, etc), home burned jpeg file disks, etc. They all work in other machines, but not our "daily-use" machine.

However, when you go to EXPLORE, it shows that both drives are there, but nothing is ever contained within.

Any thoughts/suggestions?
