N FLA | Im just asking. If there were 80 million acres of corn, and on average the yields were 5 bu lower than the last USDA report projection.....There would be 400 mil bushels less corn. Are they predicting carryover of only 500 million bushels based on the yield projections from July, or maybe it was 800m? If its been as hot as you guys say in August, a potential 5 bushels can go very quickly. And I'm sure their yield projections include average August weather, and would be right on under average conditions. I dont know i'm just trying to wrap my mind around the concept. | |
