Live in Forsyth, Missouri Farm in N, MO | planted 20 acres of corn april, 9th. 113 day corn. most stalks only have 1 ear, a few with 2 ears; however they are not completely full to the end of the cobb. Average 15 rows with about 40 seeds per row. Planting pop was 26,000. My question is this. The bottom few leaves are turning brown and drooping; is this normal or is there a problem? Is it just reaching maturity. this is in N. Missouri hill ground with plenty of moisture. |
