Belzoni, Mississippi | I rode and looked at one of my fields today and it has been about a week and a half since i seen it. This week the corn is really maturing. All of the husk around the ears have turned brown. But the crop doesnt look as good to me as it did before. Does anyone else feel like this the closer we get to harvest. One week it looked like i could have cut 150 bushels and now it looks like i could cut 100. All the ears i been pulling have been excellent and now i cant find any more good ones. I guess i pulled them all. Oh well. | |
