Subject: Stalk nitrate samples / test- help please



Central Ohio		We have begun using a lot of chicken litter before corn and we are trying to figure out how much to cut back on liquid 28%.

This year we have a lot of rain, and some really good corn, so I figure that is as much N use and depletion as we should see in any year.

So... when do you take the samples? How do you sample? What areas of field? Where to send in OH?
