Subject: Mixing Manganese and Roundup?

Eastern NC
I know that the practice of mixing manganese and Rounduop is considered a no-no but I would like to get some opinions on what some of you guys may have done in the past. From what I have been told the manganese will tie up a portion of the glyphosate so that it is inactive so here goes the question. If I have to make another trip across the field to apply manganese it will cost me more than an extra dose of glyphosate. Why not increase glyphosate to allow for the effect of the manganese and save the double trip? I have also been told that this reaction is more noticeable with spray water of a higher pH. What are your thoughts. Please do not recommend the chelated stuff that only gives you a fraction of the manganese for way more money per acre.
