Subject: Dawn Strip till Pics

Independence OR
We finally got to get back into the field late this week and get some more corn into the ground. We have had a wet spring and it has been a real challenge to get the corn into the ground. This is my first experience with strip till this season so it has been a real learning experience for me. To speed up our planting we got our 955 out and I planted into the strips with it. The more I use the Dawn strip tiller the more I like it, I only wish I had a 12 row and not a 6. I striped into a canola stubble field as will as some grass sod in these pictures. I am amazed at how well the strips look in differing soil types, my canola field that I striped has a wide range of soil types.

Two question for the Dawn guys; In my grass sod the soil seems to shoot out over the swirl sometimes and it leaves more soil between the strip. Is there something I can do to fix that? What is the air pressure operating range in normal conditions?

Scott
