![](https://talk.newagtalk.com/profile/get-photo.asp?memberid=9526&type=photo&rnd=203) Eastern Iowa | I need something for liquid manure incorporation. My ground is highly erodible, so it needs to leave lots of trash. I want something I can pull with a 180 hp MFWD tractor.
I tried the field 24 foot field finisher yesterday, but the surface applied manure made the stalks wet and they wouldn't flow through that well afterwards. I switched to the disk (only a 16 footer) which was working OK, but is a poor match for the tractor. I can run in 13th gear but it throws a big ridge of dirt if I do. If I go slower I am just wasting fuel.
What is the ultimate tool for working efficiently in surface applied manure, that will leave lots of trash and work with a JD 8100?
