NC Nebraska | Unloading some pics from my camera and thought I'd share how we harvest light red kidney's here. This was a new machine last year with the new 9 bat reel which has improved the cutting tremendously. Of course to run this head we had to update tractors. This is a 25' rigid draper head and the decks will shift allowing up to pile 50' in one windrow if desired however we rarely do that as the windrows won't dry nearly as fast. We swath almost perpendicular to the rows to keep from taking in so much dirt which are planted with a 15" planter. Some can probably tell we cut them when they are a little greener yet because at that point they have a little more height yet. I don't have any combine pics but they are just combined with a pickup head. Installed the ATU which worked flawlessly. Hope you enjoy!
