We have a 2006 Impala SS. A few weeks ago the keyless entry controllers quit working suddenly. We bought new batteries and it still wouldn't work. Looked in the manual and there is a way to 'sync' the car and the controllers back together. Couldn't get it to work on the car side of things.

I'm starting to wonder if something is wrong with the receiver on the car. I bet thats not a cheap replacement part. Wifey isn't liking the whole situation (I don't drive it much, I can deal with it).

Anyone on here a GM mechanic? Could you help a guy out or give him some guidance??
