I have a good old mercury inside/outside thermometer that's usually pretty close to what websites say my area should be at, but this past week it's been off by almost 10 degrees F. It's supposedly tied to my zip, but I know it's likely the only reporting station is the bloomington, Il airport. Is it just the effect of the city being warmer this time of year - I don't notice as much difference other times.
