| Hey guys, have a JD 9976 cotton picker that has some possible engine problems. Went in the shed 2 years ago running perfect and has been run every few months. But now when at idle it has a sort of intermittent engine stutter like its not firing on all 6 and it will blow some black/gray smoke out the exhaust. But it will only do this for 30 seconds or so and then runs perfect for about 5 mins and then goes back to stuttering in that cycle. If set to medium or high rpm it goes away.
Any thoughts? | |
