Subject: Do GPS antennas go bad

Central Minnesota

It is an old Raven MBA-6 antenna that looks like an upside down ice cream cone. On a Case 4420 sprayer with Viper Pro.  One day it just quit on the way to the field and said no GGA message. Restarting monitor didn't help. Next day worked.   Another day it went away but came back 5 minutes later but as it came back the mapping was all wonky for a bit, but finally straightened out.

I know they are testing satellites and been sunspot issues.   I could still spray, but a guy gets kinda used to having mapping and section control.     Just curious if anyone ever had an antenna go out and actually quit working.
